Lightweight

REC is a firm believer in reducing the mass of the rotating assembly by removing material from all applicable internal engine components. The rule of thumb is "th lighter, the better, without compromising strength." REC has undergone years of experimenting and testing to come up with combinations and solutions which are proven to work. Desired horsepower and the RPM required are the two critical factors within this equation.

Of course, removing the mass from the rotating assembly will also reduce the overall weight of the engine. If you are a racer or have any other needs to go one step further to achieve the maximum weight reduction, look no further. REC is your source as we are known as the "home of the all aluminum rotary engines." THATS RIGHT!! We can provide you a 2 rotor or 3 rotor aluminum engine block for both naturally aspirated and turbocharged applications.

4 Rotor Aluminum Engine for the Mazda RX7But, we're not done yet, we now offer our latest creation... the "4 ROTOR all aluminum racing engine". This beast is a genuine custom aluminum engine block. This is NOT two 2 rotor engines coupled together. This engine uses a custom crankshaft, custom end housings and custom tension bolts. This is a naturally aspirated peripheral port configuration.
