Two Piece E-Shaft Installations

As mentioned in other areas of this website, we are an exclusive North American distributor for X-Treme Rotaries products. One of their latest performance products is the 13B two piece e-shaft Kit. Within the conversion process, this shaft must be dynamically balanced with the rest of the rotating assembly before it can be installed. The kit also supplies a special "center bearing" which stabilizes the center of the two piece shaft. This bearing requires special machine work to be performed to the factory center housing of the engine. (See "Center Bearing Machining" in the services section of this website). This shaft kit is recommended strictly for race applications and although there is no harm using it in a street engine, its benefits will likely be unnoticed.

Depending on the model of rotors and counterweights chosen as part of your rotating assembly, the cost of the work to do this conversion can vary.
